Tropical Traditions Virgin Coconut Oil Review

I am proud to be writing this review for "Tropical Traditions virgin coconut oil."  A 100% hand made virgin oil made in the traditional way of hand shaving the pulp from the insides of the coconuts, and going through the painstaking process of pressing the pulp to make the oil. Now due to the fact that this process is done by hand and not by machine it makes this not only a great quality product, it makes it one of the few companies trying to keep with traditions and keep the old methods alive. They are also trying to keep their community alive by using local products and keeping the company employee's local too!

Now I'm not going to bore you with a whole background on the company. If you would like to know more about the company and their products you can check them out at their website tropical traditions. So back to the review. Being a baker I have used a lot of products that are supposed to be healthier then using butter or lard, and I have to say this has become my new favorite. Not only does it incorporate very well, but it has a very subtle flavor so you hardly know that it wasn't butter you used. There are many benefits to using virgin coconut oil as a replacement for butter and fats, not just for the fat content alone but also the health benefits. Since there are very few calories in coconut oil it makes it not just the smart choice but also the healthier choice, rather then lard, butter, veg oil, peanut oil, or even olive oil. And due to the lower fat and calorie content it makes whatever you are making a very creamy and smooth with little to no flavor difference with the final product. I am very pleased with this product and I will definitely be recommending Tropical Traditions to anyone and everyone I know who is looking to try to eat healthier and live better. And even some people just looking to be healthier sometimes. If you are interested in giving this product a try then don't forget to get your entries in for my giveaway. I am sure that you will be pleasantly surprised with this company's products and services, as well as the quality of the food you create with it. Thank you for reading. If you have any questions or comments I am always open to hear them so please feel free to write and ask me anything.
